Men's Track & Field Picks Up More Hardware

The Division I-AAA Athletic Directors Association is administered by the National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics (NACDA) and recognizes the 98 Division I institutions that do not sponsor football. A total of 17 sports were included to recognize schools for their success in 2014-15.
Marquette turned in its best finish at the 2015 BIG EAST Conference Indoor Track and Field Championships, taking runner-up honors thanks to five individual event winners. Sophomore Wally Ellenson won the high jump crown and set a BIG EAST record with a leap of 7 feet, 3.25 inches on the way to being named Most Outstanding Field Athlete. Redshirt-senior Marcell KirkmanBey raced to a title in the 60-meter hurdles, while sophomore Joel Swanberg doubled-up as champion in both the pole vault and heptathlon.
