"Patrick comes to us from a very successful high school program, La Crosse Aquinas. He has had multiple podium finishes at the state track meet along with a team state championship. He is a successful middle distance runner and he'll be able to help us in several events within the middle-distance oriented Big East Conference."

High School: Campbell earned four letters in both cross country and track and field at Aquinas High School ... Runner-up in the WIAA Division 2 state track meet in the 1,600-meter run (4:22.44) as a junior ... Recorded a sixth-place finish at the state meet in the 1,600 as a senior (4:19.35) ... Three-time all-conference in cross country and four-time academic all-conference performer in both cross country and track and field ... Helped the Blugolds to a state championship in track and field as a junior as well as a sectional title ... Cross country squad claimed sectional titles as a freshman, sophomore and senior.
