Indoor (So.): Placed fourth and set a personal best in the mile at the John Tierney Classic with a mark of 4:20.89... Placed ninth and 11th, respectivley, in the BIG EAST Championship in the 3,000-meter (8:23.65) and 5,000-meter race (14:46.29)... Competed at the Jack Johnson Classic and placed fourth in the 3,000-meter race (8:31.45).
Outdoor (So.): Competed and took 12th in the 5,000 (15:17.73) at the BIG EAST Outdoor Championships … Placed eighth in the 1,500-meter race (4:00.99) at the Wisconsin Twilight.
Cross Country (So.): Came in as Marquette’s top runner four of seven races … Finished first for Marquette and second overall at the UW-Parkside Godfrey Open (8k; 25:24.7) … Was the sixth finisher and was the first Marquette runner at the National Catholic Invitational hosted by Notre Dame (5 mi; 25:24.7) … Came in under 25 minutes at 24:50.9 for an 8k and at 81st place overall and first for Marquette at the Louisville Classic … Snagged the top spot for Marquette at the BIG EAST Championships in the 8k (25:01.0) and placed eighth overall … Finished the NCAA Great Lakes Regional 10k in 32:24.0, placing him 66th throughout all runners and second for Marquette.
Indoor (Fr.): Took first place at the UW-Parkside Fall Finale in the mile, along with setting a PR for his time of 4:24.56 ... Cracked the top-five when he finished the 3000-meter race in 8:35.97 at the Jack Johnson Invitational.
Outdoor (Fr.): Only competed in two meets during his first outdoor season at Marquette ... Brought home fourth place at the UW-Whitewater Drake Alternative meet in the 5000 (15:05.20) ... Was just outside the top-five, when he finished sixth in the 3000 at the Wisconsin Alumni Classic.
Cross Country (Fr.): Was the first Golden Eagle and 26th-overall competitor to cross the finish line at the ISU 8k (25:29.5) ... Came in second out of the Marquette runners in three of the six races he competed in, Pederson also was in the top-three in all six races he ran in ... Finished the his 8k in 25:40.3 at the BIG EAST Championships, placing him second for Marquette and 25th overall.
Prior to Marquette: Lettered in cross country, track and Nordic skiing at Spooner High School … Was a two-time Section 1 Wisconsin Cross Country Coaches Association Runner of the Year … A 2015 WIAA Division 2 cross country state champion … A WIAA Scholar-Athlete Award winner … As a senior, won the 3,200-meter state title and finished runner-up in the 1,600-meter run … Holds school records in the 1,600 meters (4:21), 3,200 meters (9:16) and the 4x800-meter relay (8:14) … The 2015 Kortelopet Skate Nordic Skiing champion.
