2010 Performance List

2010: Finished a season-best 13th at the Wisconsin Badger Classic with an 8K time of 26:03.9...Ran a season-best 8K time of 25:50.2 and placed 161st at the Wisconsin adidas Invitational ...BIG EAST Academic All-Star.

Prior to Marquette: Guthrie earned three letters each in cross country and track and field at Naperville North High School where he was selected team co-captain in both during his senior year. He helped the cross country team to its first ever IHSA AAA Cross Country Championship in 2008, in addition to a fifth-place finish in 2007 and a seventh-place finish in 2009. The Huskies also captured regional and sectional crowns in cross country during his sophomore and junior seasons. With the Naperville Cross Country Club, placed third at the Nike Cross Country Nationals in 2008 after placing second at the Midwest Regional. Individually in 2009, Guthrie placed 20th overall at the Nike Midwest Regional and 19th at the Foot Locker Midwest Regional meet. Guthrie holds a cross country personal best of 15:43 in a 5K meet. During the spring of his senior year, he ran a personal-best tim of 9:16.81 in the 3,200-meter run. For his work in the classroom, he was named to the cross country academic all-conference team the past three years.
