2009: Started the 2009 cross country season by finishing 33rd overall (16:14.07) at the DePaul Invitational and helped MU claim first...Ran a season-best 5K time of 19:50.6 and finished 34th overall at the Midwest Collegiate Open...Competed at the Wisconsin/adidas Invitational and ran a 19:55.1.

High School: Hackman earned four letters as a prep in both cross country and track and field at Catholic Memorial...Named captain for both the 2008 cross country and 2009 track seasons...Earned all-conference recognition each year in cross country and qualified for the state meet every year in both cross country and track and field...In 2008, helped school's 4x800-meter relay squad capture third place at the state meet...Also helped that 4x800 group set the school record in a time of 9:50.
