"Elisia is another one who had an outstanding senior track season; dropping her best time in the 3,200 by 20 seconds. Because of some injuries suffered during her sophomore and junior seasons, I think she has a lot of room to improve once she gets to college. We're excited to see what she can do with a full year of healthy training."

High School: Meyle earned four letters in both cross country and track and field as a student-athlete at West Aurora High School, where she served as cross country captain as a senior in 2010 ... Helped track and field team to conference championships in 2009 and 2011 and sectional titles in 2010 and 2011 ... Also helped cross country team to the sectionals during final three years ... Was an all-conference performer in the 3,200-meter run as a senior and a state qualifier, where she placed 19th ... Given the Blackhawks' most valuable runner award in cross country in 2008 and 2009 and the coaches' award in track in 2009 ... Recipient of rookie of the year and top newcomer awards in cross country and track and field, respectively, as a freshman in 2007-08 ... Holds a personal record of 5:22.9 in the 1,600.
