"Michael experienced an injury at the beginning of his senior track season, but that did not stop him from having a successful senior campaign. He and his high school coach decided to focus on speed and Michael was able to qualify for the Washington state championships in the 400 and 4x400. With increased training and experience, I think Michael will be an asset for our program in the future."

High School: Corr earned four letters in cross country and three letters in track and field at Seattle Preparatory School ... Elected cross country and track and field team captain as a senior ... Helped Prep earn state runner-up finishes in both 2010 and 2011 cross country seasons ... Led Prep to metro championships in 2010 and 2011 as well as a district title in 2010 ... Competed in the Nike Northwest Regionals in 2011 as Prep finished third ... Holds personal-best marks of 50.3 seconds in the 400 and 1:57.03 in the 800 ... Also earned four letters in swimming at Seattle Prep and served as team captain his senior season.

Personal: Corr was born in Seattle, Wash., to Jean and Patrick Corr as the youngest of four children ... Has two older brothers, Brenden and Ryan, and an older sister, Elizabeth ... Plans to major in marketing.
