Prior to Marquette: Pachuta earned four letters in both cross country and track and field at Eastview High School. As a co-captain in both sports during her senior year, she was an all-conference performer and was named Eastview's top scholar-athlete for the class of 2010. Rachuta led the Lightning to a regional runner-up finish in 2008 in addition to winning conference and regional championships in 2008 and 2010.
