The men's squads from those institutions also find themselves ranked coming into Friday's meet. Villanova leads the pack at No. 7, while Georgetown and Providence come in at Nos. 16 and 17, respectively.
The MU men's team is looking to build off last year's fifth-place finish at the BIG EAST Championships, its highest placement since the Golden Eagles joined the conference. Greenwood ran a time of 21:38 in last year's BIG EAST Championship to lead the squad in 24th-place. All told, five of the MU women have run in at least one BIG EAST meet, led by senior Elisia Meyle's three appearances.
Alec Miller led the men's team to a 14th-place finish in Peoria with a personal-best time of 25:45.8.
