The 2017-18 athletic campaign will mark Eric Kissel's second year with Marquette University as Coordinator of Facilities and Event Management. He is the direct contact for volleyball and women's lacrosse and is responsible for managing the vehicle fleet and assisting in game management. He also oversees the scheduling of Marquette's athletic facilities.
Prior to Marquette, Kissel served as an Athletic Facilities and Operations Graduate Assistant at West Virginia, where he graduated with a masters degree in sport management in 2016.
In Morgantown, he worked as the on-site event manager for men's soccer, swimming and diving, track and field and wrestling. Kissel also assisted in event management for football, men's and women's basketball, women's soccer, volleyball, gymnastics, baseball, rifle and all NCAA/Big 12 Conference events and tournaments hosted by the university.
Kissel graduated with a bachelors degree in sport management with a minor in business administration from Slippery Rock University in 2013. He served as a facility and event management staff member in the athletic department, where he directed and coordinated the preparation and tear down of all equipment for all events.
The Columbiana, Ohio native spent time with the Ohio Machine Major League Lacrosse team as a stadium operations intern in 2012.
