• Junior Dan Fitzgerald scored 20 points to lead the Golden Eagles in scoring against St. John's. The 20 points marked a career high for Fitzgerald.

• With 20 points, Fitzgerald became the sixth Golden Eagle to score at least 20 points in a game, joining junior Ousmane Barro, freshman David Cubillan and sophomores Dominic James, Wesley Matthews and Jerel McNeal. It is the second straight game that an MU player has scored 20 or more points. It is also the second straight game a new MU player has been added to the list. Cubillan had 20 against Pitt last Saturday.

• Fitzgerald's 20 point total marked the 16th time this season that an MU player has scored 20 or more.

• Freshman Lazar Hayward scored 14 points. It is the fourth time this season that Hayward has scored 14 or more.

• Senior Mike Kinsella tied a career high with six points, matching his total from the Pittsburgh game. He hit both three-point attempts against St. John's. He has made four of his five career three point attempts, all of which have come in the last two games.

• As a team, Marquette hit 10 three point field goals, its highest total since hitting 13 against Eastern Mich. on November 18. It marked the third time this season that MU had 10 or more threes in a game.

• James had eight assists for the Golden Eagles, his second highest total of the season. In the last three games, James has recorded 26 assists (8.7 per game).

• Marquette topped the 70 point mark for the fourth-straight game. The Golden Eagles are 17-1 when scoring 70 or more points in a game this season.

• The trio of Fitzgerald, Hayward and Matthews scored 10 or more points in the same game for the second time this season (2-0).

• Marquette is 1-0 all-time as a six seed in the Tom Crean era in conference tournament games. MU is now 1-0 in the Crean era against the no. 11 seed. Marquette has never played a team seeded third.

• Marquette broke a five-game conference tournament losing streak with its win over St. John's.

• Marquette has won its last three games against Pittsburgh, including two this season.
