Head Coach Tom Crean
"We just keep working to get better and take our 13 wins into a great conference and learn it is an entirely different game on the road and against this good competition."
"We had a great week of hard practice. We didn't show it in the first half, but we did in the second. We are ready. When the ball gets thrown up on Thursday, we will be ready. We know you can't turn it off; a mature team shows it game in and game out."
"We have grown a lot, with the win against Duke and loss to North Dakota State and Wisconsin, we are starting to understand what it is going to take. It is a dogfight from here on out, night in and night out. Providence is looking good but we will be ready. We are maturing and going in the direction we want to go."
"We started getting the ball reversed a lot more in the second half early on clogging paint. The ball ended up in my hands a lot, I was just trying to penetrate for my teammates and for myself."
What the team has learned going into BIG EAST play...
"We have learned a lot from each other, from young guys and how they can help us. The older guys are finding out how we can create for each other."
