The Marquette University men's basketball team returns home looking to extend its current winning streak to three games when the squad hosts DePaul Wednesday night at 6 p.m. CT. ESPN2 will feature MU's eighth national broadcast of the campaign, with John Saunders (play-by-play) and Fran Fraschilla (analyst) calling the action. MU will be taking donations as fans leave the game to assist the relief efforts in Haiti. All money will be turned over to the Catholic Relief Services and the Jesuit Refugee Service. The team will hit the road to face Providence on Feb. 6 after its matchup with DePaul, completing the final two home-and-home series in league action this season.

MU Tops Nation In 3-Point Shooting Percentage
Featuring an offensive attack that is averaging 9.4 treys made per game in conference outings, Marquette is currently ranked first in the nation in 3-point field goal percentage (.430).

Through games of Jan. 31, Marquette has knocked down 171-of-398 from behind the line, edging St. Mary's' 42.0 percent (193-of-460) from distance. MU's effort on the season includes an impressive conversion rate of 45.2 percent (85-of-188) in BIG EAST play.

Sophomore guard Darius Johnson-Odom leads the way with 48 treys, but a total of six players have drained at least 10 3-pointers on the year.

MU Values The Ball In Road Victory Over UConn
MU maximized its offensive opportunities in the victory over UConn Saturday afternoon, turning the ball over a season-low three times against the Huskies in a narrow 70-68 victory.

The three miscues marked the lowest single-game total since turning it over on just three occasions in a 71-64 victory at Notre Dame last season. While each player to see action contributed to the minimal total, senior guards David Cubillan and Maurice Acker combine for 71 minutes of error-free court time. The duo also dished out 11 of the squad's 14 assists on the day.

Prior to the Notre Dame contest in 2008-09, the last time MU finished with less than three turnovers came in a 90-70 win over Butler on March 3, 1990. Former MU standout Tony Smith had 43 points in that contest.

Butler's Heroics Provide MU With Ranked Road Win
Junior forward Jimmy Butler's fadeaway jumper with 2.8 seconds left allowed MU to claim a 70-68 victory over No. 19/19 UConn.

The victory was the first on the road for the Golden Eagles against a top-25 opponent since they defeated Pittsburgh 77-74 in overtime in 2006-07.

Butler finished with a game-high 21 points and also chipped in seven rebounds in 37 minutes of action.
