The Golden Eagles were able to get a good night's sleep on Monday after arriving in San Jose, waking up mid-morning for a late breakfast before heading to San Jose City College for an afternoon practice session.

The remainder of Tuesday will include a trip to the local mall, study hall, dinner at the hotel and a film session. Marquette was the first team to arrive in San Jose and will share its team headquarters with UTEP.

NEWS & NOTES: The remainder of Marquette's travel party, including the ban and cheer/dance squads, will arrive Tuesday evening ... the Golden Eagles made an impromptu stop for ice cream on the way back from practice ... the remainder of the team has finished the stylish haircuts, with the exception of Dwight Buycks.
