Steve Taylor Jr. Leaving Men's Basketball Program

Forward Steve Taylor Jr. appeared in 90 career games for Marquette.

Junior Steve Taylor Jr., is leaving the Marquette University men's basketball program and will transfer, head coach Steve Wojciechowski announced Wednesday afternoon.

The 6-7, 240-pound forward will have one season of eligibility remaining after playing three years with the Golden Eagles.

"We want to thank Steve for his contributions to the program, not only this season, but his entire career," Wojciechowski said. "We also wish him the best of luck as he explores other opportunities to continue both his academic and athletic careers."

The Chicago, Illinois, native appeared in 90 career games for Marquette, earning 17 starting assignments. He averaged 3.9 points and 3.3 rebounds per game during his three years at MU.
