The Marquette University men's basketball team arrived in Newark, N.J. late Tuesday evening after a busy day and settled into the team's headquarters.

Although this week's destination includes the same hotel the team stayed in three weeks ago and the playing venue of fellow BIG EAST Conference member Seton Hall, logistics have become more difficult to coordinate.

Last weekend's location in Cleveland provided a five-minute drive to anything the team needed - practice gym, restaurants, Quicken Loans Arena and team hotel. Wednesday afternoon it took the team bus nearly 45 minutes to reach SHU's campus for practice.

Wednesday's Itinerary

10 a.m. - Team Breakfast

10:30 a.m. - 12 p.m. - Study Hall

2 p.m. - Practice
The Golden Eagles utilized Walsh Gymnasium on SHU's campus for a 90-minute workout.

4 p.m. - Team Lunch

8 p.m. - Team Dinner

10 p.m. - Film/Scout

Thursday Morning

Marquette will conduct the first open practice Thursday afternoon at the Prudential Center, taking the court from 12-12:50 p.m. The team's media obligations will follow the practice session prior to the squad's return to the hotel.
