The Marquette University men's basketball team made its first trip to the Prudential Center Thursday afternoon for the squad's open practice and media sessions.

Nearly 2,000 fans were in the stands to watch MU's practice, which began prior to 12 p.m. and was conducted without the use of a ball. Only when the official 50-minute workout started was the team able to utilize balls.

Seniors Jimmy Butler, Dwight Buycks and Joseph Fulce and junior Darius Johnson-Odom represented the program at the interview session, which began with comments from head coach Buzz Williams.

The Golden Eagles will have some down time at the hotel before dinner and team film sessions this evening.
