Senior guard Andrew Rowsey of the Marquette University men’s basketball team has accepted an invitation to compete in the 3X3U National Championship and State Farm College Slam Dunk & 3-Point Championships at the 2018 Final Four in San Antonio, Texas.

The inaugural 3X3U National Championship is from March 30 through April 1, 2018, in San Antonio. The 3X3U National Championship will pit all-star teams from college basketball’s top conferences against each other in a three day, 3-on-3 tournament. Teams will be competing for a $100,000 prize pool. All participating players must be seniors that have exhausted their collegiate eligibility.

The BIG EAST Conference team roster will feature Rowsey, Xavier’s J.P. Macura and Trevon Bluiett, and Seton Hall’s Desi Rodriguez.

The State Farm College Slam Dunk and 3-Point Championships invites the top 24 seniors in the country to compete—eight dunkers, and eight men's and eight women's 3-point shooters. This is the 30th year of the event, which is always hosted in the site city of the men’s Final Four. The event is televised nationally on ESPN on Thursday night, March 29, from 8 p.m. -10 p.m. local (9pm-11pm EST) leading into Final Four weekend, and will air several additional times throughout the weekend.
