MILWAUKEE - On Thursday, March 30, Marquette forward Steve Novak will be among the headliners as he takes part in The College Basketball Slam Dunk and 3-Point Shooting Championships.

Novak will be the favorite competitors. This season, Novak was sixth in the nation in three point percentage, hitting 46.7 percent, finishing his career making a school-record 46.1 percent from behind the arc. At 46.1 percent for his career, Novak had the highest career three point percentage of any active player this season and finished fifth on the NCAAs all-time three point percentage list.

This season, Novak led the BIG EAST and was third in the country in three point field goals made per game at 3.9.

Novak will be competing against the likes of West Virginia's Kevin Pittsnogle (40.1 percent), Notre Dame's Chris Quinn (41.9 percent) and Butler's Bruce Horan (41.1 percent).
