Marquette Collects Another Record-Setting Campaign

The Marquette University men's basketball team enjoyed another record-setting campaign in 2012-13, collecting a number of team and individual accomplishments.

  • NCAA Elite Eight (first time since 2003 and seventh time in MU history) 
  • BIG EAST Conference regular season co-champions (first-ever BIG EAST title) 
  • 26-9 overall (third-most wins in school history) 
  • 14-4 BIG EAST (28 league victories last two seasons are most of any BIG EAST program) 
  • Eighth-straight NCAA Championship appearance 
  • Third-straight Sweet 16 appearance Eighth-straight 20-win season Eighth-straight BIG EAST Championship quarterfinal appearance 
  • Matched program best with 14 BIG EAST wins (also 14-4 in 2011-12) 
  • Currently in possession of 25-game home winning streak (second longest in the nation) 
  • Finished undefeated at home for second-straight year in league play 
  • 24 national television broadcasts 
  • Finished 14th in the nation in attendance (15,033 per game), seventh-straight top-15 finish
