Marquette Honors Seniors At Annual Awards Banquet

April 17, 2015

Nearly 500 Marquette University men's basketball fans attended the team's annual end-of-season awards banquet at the BMO Harris Bradley Center Thursday night.

The evening's festivities were highlighted by remarks from head coach Steve Wojciechowski, Vice President and Director of Athletics Bill Scholl and University President Dr. Michael Lovell.

Seventeen awards were presented to members of the program during the awards ceremony, as players, managers, band and spirit members were recognized.

Marquette's senior class of Juan Anderson, Matt Carlino and Derrick Wilson was honored for its contributions to the program, as well as Father William Kelly for his over 30 years of service as team chaplain.

Former player Marc Marotta, whose untimely passing earlier this month shocked the Marquette and greater Milwaukee community, was also honored.
