How important is Championship Friday to this week's Session I Day Camp participants?

All the casual observer would have to do was ask a camper brought to tears on the Al McGuire Center court after his team was eliminated from the postseason tournament.  With all of the week's hard work and dedication coming to a head, emotions were running high through all four divisions.

The biggest shocker of the day came in the NCAA division, where David Cubillan's UCLA squad was upset by Kansas in the championship game.  The Bruins had cruised through the regular season with a perfect 9-0 record and advanced to the title matchup with relative ease.  While Cubillan had plenty to say before the final whistle, he skipped the mandatory postgame press conference and was unavailable for comment.

While South Florida and Miami were able to sweep the regular season and tourney titles in the BIG EAST and NBA divisions, respectively, Greece upset top-seeded Senegal in the Olympic Division.  Obviously inspired by its country's first-ever win in the World Cup, the Greeks followed the strong leadership of head coach Darius Young to the title.
Please see the PDF attached above for a complete listing of Friday's individual and team winners.
