Session I Daily Buzz  | Camp Awards

Campers of the Day
Monday: Benjamin Sibilski (Greece), Joey Drana (Butler), Julian Stechschulte (Syracuse), Sam Garven (Clippers).
Tuesday: Michael Broeker (Senegal), Ethan Schlessinger (Ohio State), Zak Klug (Marquette), Nyle Numaan (Thunder)
Wednesday:  Henry Gross (Venezuela), Michael Bonfiglio (Kansas), Abe Decker (USF), Will Flaherty(Mavericks).
Thursday:  Kacey Monarch (Venezuela), John Ewing (Oregon), Marcellis Janusz (Notre Dame), Malik Johnson (Bucks)

Championship Friday brought with it plenty of surprises as Session I Day Camp came to a close at the Al McGuire Center.  Only one team, Greece from the Olympic Village, was able to defend its regular season title in tourney competition. 

Kansas (NCAA), Notre Dame (BIG EAST) and the Lakers (NBA) were each able to pull off dramatic victories Friday afternoon and leave camp with final bragging rights.

CAMP PHOTOS: Action photos will be taken each day of camp in the Al. These candid photos will be available to view and purchase on MarquetteImages.com along with the camp group photo taken Monday. There is a large assortment of photo printing options, including 12 sizes to choose from with four different types of finishes. Each camper will also have their photo taken (Tuesday morning) with Buzz Williams and it will also be available for purchase on MarquetteImages.com.

CAMP STORE: Check out the official Camp Store on the main concourse level of the Al McGuire Center. Food, drinks and Marquette gear will be available. Campers will be able to purchase "credit cards" for various dollar amounts so they don't have to worry about having cash. The "Camp Combo" returns in 2012 and features a T-Shirt/Shorts for $30 or headband/wristband duo for $12.

TEXAS STYLE BARBEQUE: Join Buzz Williams and the men's basketball team for a Texas Style Barbeque on Wednesday, June 27 at Marquette's Central Mall (behind Raynor Library) from 5-9 p.m. Cost is $10 per person (children 4-and-under are free).
