Wade, 2009 Hall Of Fame Class To Be Honored At Banquet

Milwaukee - A special ceremony honoring the 2009 Marquette University Department of Intercollegiate Athletics Hall of Fame inductees will be held on Saturday, August 22 at the Bradley Center. The evening’s events begin at 5:30 p.m. will include a reception, dinner and program. The cost is $75 per person. Registration is available online and for more information email sarah.claus@mu.edu. The 2009 class is highlighted by former men’s basketball standout and current NBA star Dwyane Wade, who will be inducted along with the 2002-03 Final Four Men’s Basketball Team. Wade and other members of that squad are expected to be in attendance. Also joining the 66 current members of the hall of fame will be Jim Allen, Bill Cords, Kate (Gordon) McGeeney and Lisa (Oldenburg) Kanning.
