“Marquette Basketball: Revealed,” a new all-access look at the MU men’s basketball program, makes its debut today on GoMarquette.com.

Thanks to a partnership with Authentic Films, Golden Eagle fans will be provided exclusive, behind-the-scenes access to the daily activities of the program throughout the 2010-11 campaign.

Episode 1: First Team Meeting

For the first time, the 2010-11 Golden Eagles came together as a complete group for the first team meeting. Buzz Williams hosts “life lessons” on a weekly basis throughout the course of the year and the topics touch on a variety of issues.

GoMarquette.com will feature weekly “webisodes” in the site’s MUTube multimedia platform and a pair of 30-minute television programs will be available for distribution to local and regional television networks by the conclusion of the project. The first of the high definition episodes is expected to be completed in mid-November. GoMarquette.com will also provide access to each of the finished programs.

The start of the 2010-11 academic year is the focus of the first edition, which includes a look at Buzz Williams’ “life lessons,” open gym and the first day of class. As the season approaches, other planned content includes complete access to workouts, practice, boot camp, road trips, community service projects, media day and much more.

Authentic Films is currently working on similar projects with the Maryland and Auburn football teams. Marquette will be the first collegiate men’s basketball program the company has worked with in this format.
