BIG EAST Home Schedule Includes Five Saturday Matchups
The BIG EAST Conference home schedule for the Marquette University men’s basketball team includes five Saturday afternoon matchups at the BMO Harris Bradley Center, the league office announced Wednesday morning.
Including four non-conference matchups, Golden Eagle fans will be able to enjoy a total of nine Saturday contests in 2012-13 on Al McGuire Court.
MU opens league action on Tuesday, Jan. 1 when the team hosts UConn. Following a home outing versus Georgetown (Jan. 5), Marquette will have a week to prepare for its final trip to Pittsburgh (Jan. 12). Five of the team’s first seven BIG EAST games are at home.
The Golden Eagles will make multiple national television appearances throughout the course of the season, including “Big Monday” matchups and the return of CBS to the BMO Harris Bradley Center.
Season tickets are currently on sale for as little as $125. A very limited amount of 200 level seats are also still available. Full-season ticket plans include additional benefits, such as the ability to purchase extra single-game and postseason tickets before the general public. In an effort to further pack the BMO Harris Bradley Center in 2012-13, current season ticket holders can earn a $100 account credit by referring a friend to be a new season ticket holder.
Flex-plans are also available and start at just $65 - these plans include the biggest games on the schedule, including Wisconsin, Notre Dame, Syracuse and Georgetown.
A three-game weekender plan will also go on sale in September. Games within this plan include Saturday, December 22 vs. LSU, Saturday, January 5 vs. Georgetown and Saturday, February 9 vs. DePaul. Prices for this plan are set at $90 or $60 per package.
Single-game tickets will go on sale to season ticket holders on Saturday, Oct. 6 and to the general public on Saturday, Oct. 20.
