TV/Radio Coverage Of Marquette Basketball Set For 2017-18

With the team’s exhibition opener rapidly approaching on Saturday afternoon at the BMO Harris Bradley Center, radio and television coverage of the Marquette University men’s basketball team will tip off this week as well.

Spectrum Sports will feature live coverage of the matchup with Lindenwood at 1 p.m. CT on Saturday, Nov. 4, with Dennis Krause (play-by-play) and former MU standout Steve Novak (analyst) calling the action from courtside.

The Inside Marquette Basketball program is back this season on Spectrum Sports (32/1332). The bi-weekly show debuts on Nov. 8 at 6 p.m. and 11 p.m. CT and provides access to the program all season long. Krause returns as host of the 30-minute program with head coach Steve Wojciechowski and the show will include player interviews, exclusive behind-the-scenes features and much more.

ESPN Milwaukee (540 AM) will again serve as the flagship station for the Marquette Sports Network, which is overseen by Marquette Sports Properties, a division of Learfield and the Golden Eagles' multimedia rights holder. Game broadcasts include a 30-minute pregame show hosted by Gabe Neitzel, play-by-play action handled by Steve “The Homer” True and former MU standout Jim McIlvaine and a postgame recap with Steve Wojciechowski.

The Marquette Basketball Hour with Steve Wojciechowski, a weekly radio program dedicated to the latest news surrounding the program, debuts at 6 p.m. CT on Thursday, Nov. 9. True will host the 60-minute program, which features interviews with the players and staff, special guests and much more. Fans are encouraged to attend the show, which is hosted at Dave & Buster’s (2201 N. Mayfair Road).



The show will air weekly on Thursday nights all season long, with the exception of conflicts with game coverage, holidays or team travel.
