Nov. 4, 2013

With the 2013-14 season opener Friday night against Southern, the weekly radio program covering the Marquette University men’s basketball team returns to the airwaves beginning Nov. 6.

The program, The Marquette Basketball Hour with Buzz Williams, debuts at 6 p.m. CT on Wednesday, Nov. 6. Steve “The Homer” True will host the 60-minute program, which features interviews with the players and staff, special guests and much more.

The show will be hosted for the second year at Ward’s House of Prime (540 East Mason Street, Milwaukee). The program will air weekly on Wednesday nights all season long, with the exception of conflicts with game coverage or team travel.

540 ESPN will once again serve as the flagship station for the Marquette Radio Network. Game broadcasts include a 30-minute pregame show, play-by-play action with True and former MU standout Jim McIlvaine and a postgame recap with Buzz Williams.
