The Marquette University men's basketball team will host MSOE in its lone exhibition game of the season this Saturday, Nov. 7 at 1 p.m. in the Bradley Center.

The matchup is not available on broadcast television, but MU fans unable to attend will be able to watch complete coverage live on GoMarquette.com courtesy of MUTV.

The Golden Eagles will consist of a fairly large group of newcomers to the program, with six new players and seven returning veterans.

Leading the Golden Eagles this season is senior Lazar Hayward. In his 2008-09 season, Hayward finished ranked amongst the BIG EAST leaders in scoring (16.3 ppg.), rebounding (8.6 rpg.), and free throw percentages (.820). Seniors Maurice Acker and David Cubillan as well as junior Jimmy Butler will accompany Hayward. Collectively, Butler, Cubillan, and Acker have appeared in 202 games.

The MSOE Raiders, a NCAA Division III program, have progressively improved throughout the years, finishing their 2008-09 season with an 18-8 mark, the best record in school history. The Raiders were also able to carry a 11-5 record in the Northern Athletic Conference, placing them second among NAC South Division opponents. The Raiders team lost three senior players to graduation at the end of the 2008-09 season, two of whom were starters.

MSOE's head coach, Brian Miller, will return for his sixth season with the Raiders.

The Golden Eagles will tip-off against Centenary College in the regular season opener on Friday, Nov. 13 at 7:30 p.m., also hosted in the Bradley Center.
