Kulla, the BIG EAST Conference Goalkeeper of the Year, played every minute of every match for the second straight season. She registered 10 shutouts for the season, including five in BIG EAST play, and a 0.88 goals against average. With 10 shutouts in 2010, Kulla owns the top two individual season shutout performances in program history. For her career, Kulla ranks third on the career wins list (41) and sixth on the career saves list (183).
Sloan, a two-time All-BIG EAST First Team selection, scored a team-high seven goals with four of her strikes being game winners. Sloan was second on the team with 16 points as she contributed two assists to go along with her seven goals. Sloan scored three of her seven goals in BIG EAST play to help MU go unbeaten and untied in conference play for the first time in program history. Her nine career game-winning goals rank tied for third on the all-time list, while her 15 total goals stand tied for 10th.
The Golden Eagles finished the 2010 season 16-5-3 overall, and ranked No. 12 by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America and No. 9 by Soccer America. Marquette won the BIG EAST American Division Title for the second straight season with a perfect 11-0-0 record, and advanced to the third round of the NCAA Women's Soccer Championship.
