1977 Title Team Reunion Highlights Matchup With Wisconsin
Dec. 7, 2016
Members of Marquette's 1977 National Championship team, including Bo Ellis, Butch Lee and Ulice Payne, will be honored when the Golden Eagles face rival Wisconsin at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 10 at the BMO Harris Bradley Center.
The 2016-17 campaign not only marks the 100th year of men's basketball at the University, but also the 40th anniversary of the title-winning team under legendary head coach Al McGuire. Along with the pregame autograph session, members of the program from that historic season will be recognized at halftime of the matchup with the Badgers.
Single-game tickets for Saturday's matchup is an exclusive benefit to Marquette season ticket holders, but a limited number of single seats are available and can be purchased through Ticketmaster.com. Season tickets are still available for purchase for as little as $125. Four-game mini-plans featuring the Wisconsin game and including current top-15 opponents Villanova, Xavier and Creighton start at only $69. The mini-plan option is more affordable than a similar seat on the secondary ticket markets for only the Wisconsin game. Tickets can be ordered online at GoMarquette.com/tickets or by calling the Marquette Ticket office at 414-288-GOMU (4668).
Saturday's matchup includes a number of special features for Marquette fans to enjoy and details of the major highlights are included below. Fans are encouraged to allow extra time for parking due to construction around the arena, which includes road closures on Juneau and N. Fourth Street.
