Book Drive Ticket Special Dec. 21 Vs. American

Marquette Men’s Basketball fans will receive one free ticket with the purchase of one ticket along with the donation of one book prior to the Marquette University vs. American University Men’s Basketball game on December 21, 2017.

Collected books will be donated to SHARP Literacy. Lynda Kohler, President/CEO of SHARP Literacy, “Thank you to Marquette Athletics for supporting SHARP Literacy's mission by giving fans an opportunity to donate books that will be given to students participating in our program.”

Brian Morgan, Assistant Athletics Director, Ticket Sales and Strategy, “We are excited to support SHARP Literacy, by offering a ticket promotion to our game on December 21. Fans who already have tickets are encouraged to bring new or gently used children’s books to drop off at collection boxes located at each entrance.”

In addition to the SHARP Literacy book drive, the Marquette Men’s Basketball team has developed the “Reading with the Golden Eagles” program.

Throughout the school year members of the men’s basketball team will be reading to elementary school children throughout the greater Milwaukee area and challenge students to read with a goal of developing a lifelong love of learning.
