Junior (2005-06) -- Bielawski didn't play in the 2005-06 season earning a redshirt and maintaining his junior status for the following season. Sophomore (2004-05) -- Bielawski competed in all 13 MU events, shooting a 74.68 season average. His season was highlighted by a 19th place finish at the Conference USA Championship. He was MU's top finisher at that event, shooting a final-round 69 to finish at five-over 221. Freshman (2003-04) -- Bielawski had a solid first season in collegiate golf. His season was highlighted early on by a second place finish at the Xavier Intercollegiate in the final tournament of the fall season. He paced Marquette to a second place finish. Both the individual and team finishes were the highest of the season for MU golf. He set a season best and course record with a 63 in the first round. He finished the season at 76.34, the fourth best average on the team. He was just one of two golfers to play in all 12 events for the season. Prior to Marquette -- Michael Bielawski was a four year letter winner at Nathan Hale High School in West Allis, Wis. He led his team to a Greater Metro Conference championship as a junior. The team finished second at the WIAA state championships that year. He tied for the conference title as a senior and was named a first-team all-conference performer. As a junior, he finished fourth in state and was a first-team all-state and all-conference selection with a 75.6 scoring average. He was also the 2002 Wisconsin Junior Player of the Year and 2003 Junior Masters Champion. Personal -- Michael Jon Bielawski was born April 30, 1985, in Milwaukee.
