2014-15: Competed in the Windon Memorial where he shot three straight scores of 73 ... Finished T5 at the Badger Invite after carding a two-under round of 70 ... Earned his second straight top-10 finish with a T7 at the Erin Hills Intercollegiate highlighted by a third round score of 70.
At Arizona State: Competed in five tournaments during his tenure with the ASU Sun Devils ... Averaged a score of 75.07 ... Finished in the top-25 at the Arizona Intercollegiate while posting a 73 for all three rounds of play ... Best low score for the 2012-2013 campaign was a 71.
Amateur: One of two Marquette golfers (Nick Nelson) to qualify for the 2014 U.S. Amateur Championship; won the local U.S. Amateur qualifying event at Hidden Glen (Cedarburg, Wis.) by two strokes with a 36-hole, 5-under-par 139, which included an opening-round course record 66 ... Received a highest ranking of 18th best golfer in South Africa by the end of junior year ... Qualified for a spot in the South African Amateur 2011 and finished top-30 in stroke play ... Holds the course record with an 11-under 61 in the second round of club championships at Simola in 2010.
