Haase's MUTV Interview (11-12-08) Freshman (2007-08) -- Haase did not play in any collegiate events during his freshman season and instead earned red-shirt status. He advanced to the semifinal round of the WSGA Match Player Championship in June. Prior to the 2007-08 season, Haase was named 2007 Junior Boys Player of the Year by the Wisconsin Golfer magazine. Prior to Marquette -- Haase was a four-year letterwinner at Medford Area High School in Medford, Wis. He helped lead his team to conference championships his freshman, junior, and senior years. He was the conference individual champion his junior and senior years and finished third at the Wisconsin State Golf Tournament, a team best. In 2007, he received All-State Golf Honors and was also the Wisconsin Junior PGA Section Player of the Year. His 36.5 nine-hole average his senior year was a school record. Personal -- Haase was born April 16, 1989, in Medford. His parents are Michael and Rosalyn Haase. He has one older sister, Emily. He is a Business Administration major. |
