Senior (2002-03) -- Marquette's leading scorer in the first half of 2002-03, Hilton recorded two fifth place finishes in fall. He had four sub-par rounds and shot 73.73 to lead the team in both categories. He started the season strong, placing fifth at the John Piper Intercollegiate. He was in third after two rounds of that event after firing 70s in the first two rounds. After a 21st place finish at the Blue Demon Invitational, Hilton again got of to a fast start at The Cardinal Intercollegiate, shooting a 68 in the first round. He finished with his second career sub-par tournament with a four under. The beginning of the fall was not kind to Hilton, nor the rest of the MU team, but he started to put things together as the season progressed. He was just out of the top 10 at the Kauai Collegiate Cup, shooting a 225 to finish 11th. MU won that event. He shot a 221 at the Billiken Invitational to earn his seventh and final top 10 finish, placing eighth. He finished his career with a 75.23 average, the second best career scoring average in MU history. Junior (2001-02) -- Hilton proved to be Marquette's veteran team leader in his junior year. The only player with any Marquette playing experience, Hilton was one of MU's most consistent scorers. He led the team twice, carding a 226 at the El Diablo Intercollegiate and a 221 at the Bradford Creek Intercollegiate. His best finish of the year was fourth at the Kauai Collegiate Cup where he scored a 215. Sophomore (2000-01) -- In his second season, Hilton averaged 75.89 playing in all 10 tournaments for Marquette. He started the year with a 234 at the Badger Invitational. Hilton carded his best finish of the year, a fifth place, shooting 216 at the Robbins Intercollegiate, shooting a season-low 70 in the second round. His spring started rough, with a three round 245 at the Ron Smith Intercollegiate. However, he improved to a 216 at the Pirate Spring Intercollegiate. Hilton was fifth in the WSGA Men's Amateur Player of the Year standings in 2001. Freshman (1999-2000) -- The lone freshman on the squad, Hilton made his Golden Eagle debut at the Hawkeye Intercollegiate where he shot a 226, including a low of 74 in the opening round, to finish tied for 41st. He did not compete at any events in the spring. High School -- A three-time qualifier for the state tournament. He was 1997 Junior Max-Fli Champions and 1998 Wisconsin Junior Champion. Personal -- The son of Mike and Virginia Hilton, he was born May 26, 1981. Hilton is an engineering major.
