2011-12: BIG EAST All-Academic Team ... Ranked second on the team in scoring average (76.21) and tied for first with teammate Michael Motz with a total of 29 rounds played ... Led the team in par-5 scoring (4.97) and birdies (65) ... Shot a 1-under-par 70 in his first round of the season at the Wolverine Invitational, where he also put together his best three-round score of the season (225) ... Opened with another 70 the following week at the Cardinal Intercollegiate and tied for 10th place overall at even-par 144 for the two-round tournament ... Tied for 22nd place at the John Dallio Memorial ... Matched his 54-hole low with a 225 at the Windon Memorial ... Closed with an even-par 71 at the Pacific Invitational ... Earned another top-10 finish (T9th) in the dual meet vs. Flordia Atlantic ... Placed 14th at The Battle at Warren with a two-round total of 9-over 151 ... Shot even-par 72 in the second round of the BIG EAST Championship and tied for 38th place, topping the previous year's 44th-place finish ... Went 0-3 in match play.
2010-11: The freshman finished the season as one of only two players to compete in all 30 rounds, along with Kelly Kretz ... In just his third collegiate event, Konieczki was the top MU finisher at the Windon Memorial, shooting a 224 (78-74-72) ... He recorded a personal-best round 69, his own 70-or-under score, in the first round of the Pacific Invitational where he tallied his lowest total of the season (219) ... Was one of three Marquette players to score in the 60s, along with Kretz and Michael Motz ... Has shot par-or-better three times, including twice at the Pacific Invitational.
Prior to Marquette: Konieczki won the American Junior Golf Association's (AJGA)Midwest Junior Players Championship in July 2010; he shot a 5-under-par 211 at Pine Meadow Golf Club in Mundelein, Ill., to win the event by two strokes ...Konieczki was a four-time Most Valuable Player as a prep star at Boylan Catholic High School, where he helped lead the school to four NIC-10 conference titles and a regional championship during his tenure ... Konieczki was an all-conference selection in each of his four seasons and was named the league's player of the year as a senior ... During his junior and senior season at Boylan Catholic, Konieczki won a total of six tournaments, including back-to-back medalist honors at the NIC-10 Championship.
