Prior to Marquette -- McCormac helped McLennan Community College (Texas) win the 2009 NJCAA Division I National Championship with an eighth-place finish at Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail at Hampton Cove, site of the 2009 championship, en route to being named a Second Team NJCAA All-American and First Team All-Region V selection. In 2008, McCormac was a member of the Midland College (Texas) that won the NJCAA Division I National Championship.

Personal: Born September 17, 1989 and is the son of John and Susan McCormac. He has one brother, Scott, and is majoring in marketing.
