Golfers Continue Fall Season This Weekend at John Dallio Memorial

Two-day tourney hosted by DePaul starts Saturday

2010-11: Prickette finished a season-best tied for 53rd at the Gopher Invitational in September ... His season-low round of 230 (+14) came at the USF Invitational ... Recorded individual season-low rounds of 74 twice, once at the USF Invitational and again at the FAU Spring Break Championship ... Tied for 22nd place playing with his younger brother Tyler in the Wisconsin State Golf Association State Best-Ball Championship.

2009-10: Prickette tied for 26th at the Firestone Invitational, his best finish of the season ... He posted MU's lowest combined score of the tournament by firing a 225 (75-72-78) at Firestone Country Club ... He carded his lowest round of the season at Firestone with a second-round 72 to help the Golden Eagles to a third-place finish at the 12-team event ... Prickette later match his low round with a 72 during the second round of play at the BIG EAST Championship ... He posted a season scoring average of 77.67 and was one of five players to start in all nine of the team's events.

2008-09: Prickette did not play in any varsity events during his first season at Marquette.

Prior to Marquette: Prickette was a three-time conference player of the year and all-state selection ... He was named first team all-conference four straight seasons, in addition to twice being selected all-state honorable mention ... Prickette helped Xavier High School win the Wisconsin Interscholastic Athletic Association's 2007 Division 2 Boys Golf Championship under head coach Steve Howe. Prickette helped lead the Hawks to three WIAA state tournament appearances in all, claiming three regional championships, two sectional titles and four conference crowns along the way ... His nine-hole average as a senior was 36.35 ... He averaged 35.43 as a sophomore ... Prickette was runner-up for the Wisconsin Junior Player of the Year in 2007, behind current MU teammate Matt Haase, and was third runner-up in 2008 ... He was also a two-time Mike Bencriscutto Junior Masters Champion (2005 and 2008) and two-time member of the Wisconsin Junior Cup team.


Personal: Ryan Jeffrey Prickette was born on August 15, 1989 in Appleton, Wis. His parents are Jeff and Mary Prickette. He has one younger brother, Tyler, and is majoring in mechanical engineering. Prickette holds the course record at Winagamie Golf Course in Appleton. He carried a 4.0 GPA in high school and performed in multiple school choirs. He also plays piano and guitar.
