LAKE JOVITA, Fla. - Sophomore Mike Van Sickle shot a 71 to match his first round total. As a result, he moves to second place with 18 holes to play. He trails Jose Toledo of New Orleans. Toledo's two round total is 140. Van Sickle is two strokes behind at 142.

Van Sickle's total wasn't good enough to help Marquette move up the standings. MU dropped two spots to seventh, shooting a 569. Middle Tennessee State continues to lead the tournament leading by 12 shots over Nebraska.

Junior Michael Belawski shot a 74 for the second consecutive round. He is four-over, 148, and in 16th place.

Freshman Ben Sieg also shot a 74 for the second round, moving up to 47th at 153. He is tied with junior Ted Gray, who shot a second-round 78 to move to 153. Sophomore Dustin Schwab rounded out the MU lineup, shooting a 78. He is in 67th place at 157.

Final round play is schedule for Sunday, March 4.
