Golfers in Fifth Place at USF Invitational

The Marquette golf team is in fifth place after two rounds of three at the Dick Wittcoff/USF Invitational in Tampa, Fla. Marquette matched its first round total with a 298 in the second round. New Orleans took over the team lead with a score of 581. UNO's Jason Kuperman and Florida Southern's Greg Koch lead the tournament at 141. Marquette senior Nathan Colson fell slightly to fifth place at 144. Senior Kyle Murphy jumped into the top 10 in 10th place at 141. Freshman Mike Van Sickle is in 33rd place at 151. Sophomore Ted Gray is in 65th place at 156 and senior Joe Weber is in 79th place at 161. The tournament concludes with the third round scheduled for an 8 a.m. EST start on Sunday, March 5.
