MILWAUKEE – Sophomore Matt Haase posted a second-round 74 to lead the Marquette University men’s golf team Saturday at Gleneagles Country Club in Delray Beach, Fla., while junior Kelly Kretz remains among the top-20 individuals heading into tomorrow’s closing round.
After carding his second double bogey of the afternoon, Haase was able to hold steady by scoring even par on the back nine, including a pair of birdies. Kretz meanwhile was one-over-par through 15 holes before a triple bogey on hole seven was mostly to blame for finishing at five-over 76.
