Men's Golf Falls To Rutgers in First Round of 'The Match Play'

April 4, 2008

MILWAUKEE - Due to heavy rains leading up to and including day one of the 2008 Marshall Invitational in Huntington, W.Va., Friday's scheduled 36 holes have been postponed. The tournament will now be shortened to 36 holes total, which is scheduled to begin at 7 a.m. CT at Guyan Golf and Country Club.

According to Marshall's Associate Sports Information Director Brandon Parro, "the course is heavily saturated, so it is up in the air at this time as to how many holes, if any, we will be able to play tomorrow."
