Men's Golf Begins Play Monday At The Kemper Intercollegiate

MILWAUKEE - The Marquette University men's golf team will tee it up April 15-16 at the Glen Club in Glenview, Ill., to compete in the Kemper Intercollegiate hosted by Northwestern. Live scoring will be available for the two-day, 54-hole event.
There are 36 holes scheduled to be played Monday, beginning with a shotgun start at 9 a.m. Central time. The final 18 holes will be played Tuesday with tee times beginning at 8 a.m. CT off both the front and back nines.
MU is one of 14 teams slated to participate in this week's tournament. Other competing schools include: Northwestern, Ohio State, St. John's, DePaul, Loyola Chicago, Chicago State, Bradley, IUPUI, Illinois State, Western Illinois, Northern Illinois, Ohio and Dayton.
The Golden Eagles won the last tournament they played in the Midwest, capturing the John Dallio Memorial title at Ruffled Feathers Golf Course in Lemont, Ill., back in October.
The Glen Club, which has been rated among the top public golf courses in the nation since it opened in 2001, is a 7,149-yard, par 72 track designed by Tom Fazio.
