MILWAUKEE -- Marquette was once again featured by Golfweek as the Golden Eagles led off the daily internet show "Off Campus with Lance Ringler" on Friday, April 25. in a segment called the Off-Campus Elevator, Ringler described Marquette as "going up" following the team's BIG EAST Championship earlier this week.

Ron Balicki, in his "Campus Notes" column, goes on to say, "Marquette, the school from Wisconsin, is champion of the BIG EAST Conference for the first time since joining the league in 2005. Marquette, ranked No. 75 (Golfweek/Sagarin Performance Index) going in, shot 10-over 874 to edge No. 20 Louisville by two strokes. And with Marquette's overall record of 117-29-2 [24-0 BIG EAST], could golf soon take over for basketball as the school's top sport?"
