MILWAUKEE -- For the second straight year, the Marquette University men's golf team has earned All-Academic Team honors, presented by Farmers Insurance, the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA) has announced.

Marquette was one of 79 NCAA Division I programs recognized and just one of five BIG EAST Conference schools to receive the award.

The Golden Eagles posted a cumulative team grade point average of 3.22 during the 2012-2013 school year. Only teams that achieved a GPA of 3.0 or higher garner annual recognition from the GCAA.

The Golden Eagles were also recognized for All-Academic Team honors by the GCAA in August 2012.

To be eligible for the GCAA All-Academic Team honors a college or university must submit the GPAs for each student-athlete.
