Golfers To Tee It Up This Weekend At John Dallio Memorial

MILWAUKEE – Members of the Marquette men’s golf team are on their way back to the Chicagoland area this weekend to compete in the John Dallio Memorial at Ruffled Feathers Golf Club in Lemont, Ill. First and second rounds are scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 6.
Live scoring for all 54 holes will be available on Golfstat.com, including Sunday’s final round.
Joining Marquette and tournament host DePaul in the 15-team field will be Chicago State, Columbia, Eastern Illinois, Evansville, Green Bay, IUPUI, Loyola Chicago, Northern Illinois, Northern Iowa, Oakland, SIUE, Valparaiso and Western Illinois.
The Golden Eagles are coming off an 11th place finish at the Windon Memorial Classic held just south of the Wisconsin border at Skokie Country Club, led by redshirt senior Ryan Prickette, who tied for 35th overall.
Prickette will be playing in his third event of the fall this weekend as will freshmen Pat Sanchez, Zach Gaugert and Nick Nelson. Junior Corey Konieczki, who played his in his first event of the season at the Windon Memorial, rounds out the Marquette lineup. Sophomore Adam Chester will be making his fall debut on Saturday, playing unattached as an individual.
The team will play a practice round at Ruffled Feathers on Friday in preparation for Saturday's early morning tee times. Temperatures on Saturday are forecast in the mid-30's when teams will tee it up, but expected to climb up to the mid-50's by the afternoon.
