Oct. 21, 2012
KENNESAW, Ga. -- The Marquette University men's golf team continues its fall season this week at the Pinetree Intercollegiate, which will be held Oct. 22-23, at Pinetree Country Club.
Live scoring is not available; however, a daily recap and scores will be posted at GoMarquette.com following each day of competition.
Junior Michael Motz, the team's top golfer in 2011-12, will be making his first appearance of the season. He will be joined by classmate Corey Konieczki and freshmen Zach Gaugert, Nick Nelson and Pat Sanchez.
Senior Ryan Prickette, who will graduate from MU in December, will be playing as an individual in his final event as a member of the Golden Eagles.
Coming off a victory at the John Dallio Memorial earlier this month, Marquette is one of 12 schools participating at this week's tournament, which is slated to begin Monday with a shotgun start at 7:45 a.m. Central time.
Golfers are scheduled to play 36 holes on Monday followed by a final round on Tuesday morning.
The par-72 Pinetree Country Club measures 7,108 yards.
