Brandon Cloete, Pat Sanchez, Nick Nelson, CJ Swift and Trevor Thomas will represent the Golden Eagles this weekend in Greensboro. Cloete will look for his third consecutive top-10 finish while Sanchez will try for his sixth straight top-15 in a collegiate event, dating back to last year's BIG EAST Championship. Swift, a redshirt junior, will play in his second straight tournament after competing at Erin Hills as an individual.

Marquette will also look to build off a strong showing at their own tournament, the Erin Hills Intercollegiate, back in early October. Leading after nine holes on day one, the Golden Eagles finished the three-day event in third place, two places ahead of No. 7 South Florida.

Along with MU and host UNCG, other participating schools include No. 19 North Carolina, No. 31 Virginia Tech and No. 54 Chattanooga. Rounding out the 13-team field will be Georgia State, Memphis, Mercer, Notre Dame, Purdue, South Alabama, VCU and William & Mary.

This year's tournament will once again be played at the East Course at Grandover Resort, which first hosted the event in 2012. The par 72 layout stretches to 7,245 yards and has proven to be a formidable challenge in the past. Saturday will consist of 36 holes, beginning with a shotgun start at 8:30 a.m. Eastern time. The final round will also begin with a shotgun start beginning Sunday, starting at 8:30 a.m. Eastern time.

This will mark the first time the Golden Eagles have played in this event's nine-year history. Last year, North Carolina took the team title while then-freshmen Henry Do of North Carolina and Lars Van Meijel of Memphis shared medalist honors.
