2016 Season: Recorded two goals and an assist in MU's season opening win against Bellarmine (Feb. 20) ... Scored two goals and grabbed a ground ball against Ohio State (March 4) ... Tallied three goals on 12 shots and one assist in a win over Detroit (March 6) ... Notched three goals and two assists in a victory against Robert Morris (March 12) ... Added two assists to his two goal effort in Marquette's win over Quinnipiac (March 19) ... Recorded three assists in the regular season finale at No. 1 Denver (April 30) ...Posted four points on two goals and a pair of assists in 14-9 victory over Villanova (May 5) in the BIG EAST tournament semifinals ... Helped lead MU to its first BIG EAST tournament championship with a goal and assist in the title game against No. 1 Denver (May 7) ... Notched an assist in Marquette's first ever NCAA tournament game against No. 12 North Carolina (May 14).
2014 Season: Tallied five points and scored the game-winning goal with 16 seconds remaining to help MU earn its first ever BIG EAST win at Rutgers (March 29) ... Tallied three points to help MU beat Providence 7-6 (April 12) ... Put up three points to help lead MU to an 11-10 (OT) win over Georgetown (April 19) ... ... Recorded a team-high four points with a pair of goals and assists in a loss to No. 3/3 Denver (April 27) ... Led MU with two points in a loss to Villanova in the BIG EAST tournament semifinals (May 1) ... Finished 2014 with 17 goals and 14 assists, which was good for second on the team ... Gately started 14 of the 15 games he played in.
2013 Season: Started in all 13 games at attack ... Led the team with 20 assists, including a program best five to beat Mercer ... Finished second on the team points (36), notching seven to beat Mercer; tying Badalato for most by a MU player in a single game ... Tied for third on the team with 16 goals, recording a career best four against High Point ... Scored in five straight games ... 38 of Gatley's 53 shots were shots on goal, the second best mark on the team.
Prior to Marquette: Four-year letterwinner at Yorktown High School where he ranks ninth in school history for points (232) and fifth in assists (162) ... Helped the team reach the state semifinals on three occasions ... Tabbed as a USLA All-American and Hudson Player of the Year in 2012 ...
